Played Chapel Ridge today. We had a very positive experience. The staff was friendly, especially the ladies in the snack bar. The tees fairways and greens were all in good shape. There were lots of areas where you could see they were making improvements, such as putting down new sod on bare areas near the cart paths. The cart paths were in good condition and the greens rolled true.

Played August 11th after all the rain and the place was super lush. Greens were fine and fair. They were still a little wet. The roughy is crazy especially on the back. Really cool track and fun to play. Only negative is the bunkers. But they could have been washed out from all the rain. Great staff and for 68 bucks really awesome well worth it.

I've heard very good things about this course. It was very nice course with open fairways. However I was not a fan of being charged full price in the middle of February and then being delayed 30-60 minutes due to frost without any notice. Definitely feel a little scammed but the course was fun

Excellent course and layout, very challenging at a reasonable price. They are in the process of repairing the concrete cart paths and removing trees that caused the damage. After they finish this will be a 5 star course. Greens were in good shape but were sanded recently, yet they were fast and true.

Solid track, usually in decent shape outside of the bunkers. Would probably be a 3.5 to 4 star on the course alone, but I’m giving it a 2 because they had a 2+ hour frost delay this morning but didn’t call, post on their website, or use their text reminder system to let people know. They also didn’t open until an hour later than normal for a Club Shop (8am) so they were still closed by the time we needed to hit the road. Very irritating experience.

Drove from Raleigh and attempted to play today but showed up and the course had a hour plus frost delay. No notice, text or email. Tee time was around noon to make sure we could finish before sundown, but ended up teeing off at 1:20. Pro shop still charged the highest morning rates but no way you could finish the round. Further, carts on path only the first 4 holes but the fairways were dry. Play was very slow with no obvious reason for carts on path. Waited 10 mins every shot. Gave up on the round and left after the tee shot on 9, 2:30 mins into the round. Poor course management to make a 45…

Fair tricky greens. Great conditions despite the heat wave. I play a lot in a 50 mile radius of Raleigh and this is an above average public golfing experience for the area. If there weren't a tiny imperfection here and there you would forget this is a public course. Well maintained and well run. Keep doing whatever you all are doing. I will be back.

Great value year round! Could use to have the sand in the bunkers sifted for rocks. Layout is great. Usually a little wet, some French drains would help with that. Really enjoy playing here.

First time playing, loved the layout. Greens were a little slow, but it's still early in the season. One star off a the pace of play was very slow, especially for a Monday morning. 18 holes took nearly five hours, and we waited on every hole.

Played yesterday and was told when I made the tee time that the greens were perfect. The course was almost unplayable it is in such terrible shape. Greens have more sand than the bunkers do. I would like to say this is the exception, but it’s been like that almost every time I have played over the last year two. Waste of money and many better places to play , close by and cheaper.

I really like this course. It's challenging but not overly difficult. The greens were fast and true, fairways and tee boxes in good condition. Staff in the golf shop friendly; in the grill - more than accommodating.

Tee boxes need to be sanded. They never move tee markers. Course needs 2 mowings. Grass way too long. Unplayable. Greens have been horrible all Summer and continue to be slow bumpy and just plain bad. Zero is done on this course to fix and maintain minor things like tee boxes and winterkill in fairways over 9 years old. Great layout. Zero upkeep. Sad.
