In summary

Skybrook Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with significant elevation changes, and friendly, welcoming staff. The club offers a range of amenities, including a pro shop, bar, and driving range, though some visitors mention that the range is occasionally closed or restricted to members. While the course is generally in excellent condition, a few reviews point out issues with pace of play and maintenance on certain days.

I really enjoyed playing the course lately. As of fall 2025 I think it’s been in great shape. Wish I would have looked into memberships earlier before they filled up. Even though it’s a little more expensive, the driving range has been really fun to go to with the family. My only complaint is some of the kids that come out there and the language they use, especially when they see younger children around. It’s very inappropriate. Not really much the course can do about it but just a warning if you’re taking the family out. It’s also been nice playing this course as a single. I’ve been paired…

Best course in the Huntersville area if you can get on before noon. Love the layout and quality. The new range and soon to be chipping area are great additions.

Skybrook offers a nice course in the Charlotte area with a lot of variety in hole layout. Notably it is pretty hilly with a lot of elevation changes, so this offers a good amount of challenge to the course. When I have been here I was also treated kindly by the staff and the course seemed well maintained enough, so no complaints there from me. Definitely one of the more unique golf courses in the Huntersville/North Charlotte area, and worth a visit.

Skybrook was incredible! It was my first trip up to Huntersville to play this course. The staff was friendly and efficient, the course was in great shape, and the weather was perfect! What else could you want in a round? Greens were in great shape and had solid pace. I was very impressed with the whole property. If I lived closer, I would consider membership here for sure. Can’t wait to get back out there! If you haven’t been, make the trip! You won’t be disappointed.

This course was in excellent condition from tee to green—everything was perfectly maintained and a pleasure to play. The golf shop staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Hands down, one of the best quality courses in Charlotte, and I’d absolutely come back again without hesitation. The layout was both pretty rewarding. The greens were in great condition, rolling true and fast, credit to the grounds team for their incredible work.

Tee time 12:30, can’t get through 12 holes before 3:30. End at the clubhouse, tenders are frozen $11. Takes 15 minutes for chips and queso. And they want $85. Go to Mooresville or Rocky for Public or membership. Queso was good, greens are good, staff is lovely

Great golfing experience at this semi private club. Easy to reserve a tee time. Folks are really nice and helpful. There’s a putting green and driving range (though it’s a bit dated). My dad and I rented a cart, some clubs and had a ton of fun playing 18holes. Didn’t get to try out the restaurant and bar but will definitely be back!

The course has been in great shape all year round. The greens are still in good condition even going into the fall. The maintenance team has taken significant steps to ensure the greens and course were prepared for winter golf. The pro shop has an ever-changing selection of clothing options. If you have not been back to Skybrook in a few years, it is a must-play, especially once spring and summer come back around.

One of the most challenging and fun courses I have played in the Charlotte area. Outstanding pro shop and bar. Friendly staff with outstanding customer service. The course will test all aspects of your game. Gorgeous greens, manicured fairways and tight tee boxes make every hole a sight to behold. The rolling hills, creeks and plateaus make you have to plan every shot and be sure of your alignment and distances. Definitely a beautiful course I'll be visiting again.

Very friendly staff. Made us feel very welcomed. Course in great condition. Very scenic with challenging fairways and greens. Wouldn't recommend playing it when it is CART PATH ONLY. Too many steep ups and downs.
