We played there in November, and the course was in fantastic shape. One of the funniest courses I played in a long time because it’s just the right distance for a decent golfer versus a lot of these courses that are really too long for somebody that plays Bogie golf. Staff was really friendly

The course is not in good condition! The range code I got did not work but there is no grass on the range by the 1st tee anyway. There is almost no grass in the fairways you are better off playing from the rough where there is still a little grass. The bunkers are muds pits and greens are lumpy with artificial plugs all over them from previous holes. I cannot believe I paid $80 for a round here, the management should be embarrassed! They seriously need to look at closing this course temporarily before they lose it completely.

Pro shop golf staff was very friendly and informative. Apologized for cart path only, but fully understood with the rain they got and needed. Course was in good shape for May. New driving range covered area was a nice improvement. Back driving range on grass was in terrible shape and needs attention and either closed off sections to let turf recover in areas that have been hit on or close off completely until fully recovered. Hitting off of mostly sand/dirt. It’s not a big area so I am sure it gets excessive use!! Overall would definitely play again. Fairways are tight and most call for a good…

Was on vacation from Florida and played this course on a Monday liked it so much I played again the next day. Staff is very friendly and course was in great shape with fast greens. Fairways are tight so if you slice at all you will not find your ball..lol definitely be back to play next trip up! I'm an 18 handicap shot a 96 the first day 104 the second very fun course.

Great municipal course and beautiful range. Major downside! For the love god please extend your range hours, especially as we start to get more daylight. Incredibly disappointing to hustle there after work for it to be closed at 4:30 on a 70 degree day with the sun high in the sky. If needed I will happily work and stay late to close up shop, just let me know

I played there 12/21/25. It was pretty cold to start with a frost delay of 30 minutes. The fairways are grey (of course) but in good playable condition. The greens are colored and rolling very true. The only complaint with the greens is due to ball marks... lazy players not repairing their divots. I think the Charlotte area golf prices in general are a little steep, especially for winter but that's all over.

I really like this course. They are currently cutting trees and brush away from the greens and tee boxes, hopefully will allow the grass to flourish. I do wish they would clear the woods between holes, leave the trees but give us a chance to find a ball. The tee boxes are trash, the greens are immaculate. Pace of play was pretty good. Saw the ranger a couple of times, never saw a beverage cart though.

Overall amazing course. The only issue was the starter..Went this morning and teed off at my time. He was not at his post. Stops me in the middle of the first hole to ask my tee time. Told him and then questioned when I booked it. I showed him my receipt to show i was supposed to be there. He left me alone. On my way out. I drive my cart to my car (no sign saying you can't). He pulls up behind me to tell me I can't do that.. then waits for me to drop my bag at my car and then explain to me where the "return cart" area is, as if this was my first time playing at a course in my life. Sir... it's…

The driving range is almost triple what I think is fair: about $21 for a medium basket! Cameras trace the path on a monitor, which is neat, but there's no budget friendly place to just hit an $8 basket around here anymore. Very sad.

Great layout and incredible greens. Pace of play was incredible for a county course. Teed off at 4pm as a threesome and finished at 7. Well worth the trip up from Fort Mill.

Amazing golf experience. Some of the best greens I have ever played on, especially for winter (they are fast). Definitely would go again
