In summary

Stoney Creek Golf Club & Range is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and affordable rates. The course features a par 65 layout with many par 3s, making it suitable for players looking to practice their short game, though some find the layout challenging due to its compact design and proximity of tee boxes to greens. While the venue offers a positive experience with events and dining, a few visitors have reported issues with course safety, slow play, and the condition of golf carts.

I love coming to Stoney Creek. It's a well kept up course but very short from the white tees. My last visit wasn't the greatest, they had me mixed up in the middle of an old lady league and they were pissed. Never got so many evil looks on the course. All I could tell them was "it wasn't my fault". Other than that the course was nice as always.

This is an interesting course. Plays to a par 65 with 8 par 3s. Very walkable. Would be a good course for younger kids to learn on. Some tee boxes and greens are in danger zones to get hit by neighboring players. Greens are large, some very trickily sloped. Give it a try. Played my round under a rainbow.

Nice course for the price. New golf carts this year. They need to get a higher net for the driving range. Last year I got smacked in the back by a golfer in the range on I believe the second hole.

Gave it 4 stars only because it is 42 bucks . Course is very well maintained and the greens are phenomenal and fast , not a level spot on any of them . alot of par 3s of course , but the 4s are a test as you have to go back and forth stoney creek several times . Have to be accurate .

Great experience for our first round here. Course is challenging with lightning fast greens. Range was helpful as well as the putting green. Will tell my friends and plan to return again.

First time having fish fry here and it was okay. The sides were really good, but i didnt care much for the fish and their tea tasted weird. Service seemed a little unorganized. I really liked the indoor fireplace!

Loved this course! It’s a smaller course so great if you really want to practice your irons and wedges - also very good for folks who don’t drive the ball 300+ yards. Greens were in great condition for February. Like others mentioned the tee boxes can be close to the line of other hitters, but we didn’t run into any issues with that. What truly made this a 5 star experience was the staff - I’ve never seen a more friendly clubhouse staff. You can tell they really care to make sure players enjoy their course - I didn’t get the name of the lady in the clubhouse but she is definitely amazing! Will…

I like this par 3 course, it has some tricky greens. I will play again and all the staff were very polite. The food was pretty good to which is always a plus.

I would like to say the patrons of Stoney Creek are absolutely a treasure. Community now a days lacks integrity. We have all experienced the divisiveness and injustices in our time. My heart was filled with hope and refreshed today at this golf course. I invited my wife to join me too feel my joy golfing. I lost my new Ping Bunker wedge in my excitement. I returned two days later to find it was brought to the pro shop lost and found. I dont know who you are, but I thank you for more than you know. Hit them straight gang. No better place to be.

Went to the Easter Sunday brunch today There were 6 of us. Excellent food, very efficient, super friendly waiters, very casual. I wore a tie and felt overdressed. Will definitely come back when the weather is better for dinner on the patio. A real gem right hin Oak Lawn.
