In summary

Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with numerous water hazards, and friendly, accommodating staff. The club offers a range of amenities, including a recently renovated clubhouse, and is set in a beautiful, gated community. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play and occasional miscommunication regarding restaurant offerings.

Had some friends come in from Cleveland and we did a 3 day golf weekend. We played Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club on 5-3-26 and it was in amazing shape. It is such a well maintained course with a beautiful layout and challenging yet the ability to score well exits. The staff was amazing and I highly recommend playing here. I will definitely be back.

The course was well maintained. Greens were in great shape, rolling true. There is a lot of water on the course and on almost every hole.

I usually enjoy weekend brunch at the restaurant. Over Easter, I had some visitors in town and called ahead to ask if there would be a special Easter menu. I was told there wouldn't be, and that the regular breakfast menu would be available. Since I couldn't find a nearby Easter brunch option, my guest decided to go to Tampa, and I went to have my usual brunch. When I arrived, I was surprised to find out it was actually a special $40 Easter brunch. I was a bit disappointed that I received different information and missed out on the chance to enjoy a meal with friends and family.

In excellent shape with fast greens. Don’t let the short distance fool you it’s not the easiest course sitting at 6000 from the tips. Worth the drive and price

I have attended for large meetings, luncheons and a wedding over the years. Beautiful setting, amenities, and location. Just a half mile off I-75. Easy and ample parking. Landscaping is beautiful. Country Club is clean and fresh. Staff are energetic and helpful.

I enjoy playing this course on a regular basis. It tips out around 6100 or so but it's a tough 6100. I can't see how the regulars score well here with water on practically every hole and tight fairways. It's always a challenge and if I get out later in the day I can usually play 18 in under 2.5 hrs.

No carts going around for food/bev. No warnings for any delays. Staff is GRUMPY. Locals will give u the stare. Ranger Billy bob will be watching. Perfect spot for “darn every single other possible option is booked but I want to golf” One extra star bc greens were actually in great shape. The rest, not so much.

Conditions are really good. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all immaculate. Great job by the grounds crew. The layout is another story. Very gimmicky course with tight fairways and houses right up against the course. Not many holes where you can "grip and rip", hybrid off the tee is a common theme if you hit driver more than 240. It's mainly a course for seniors but considering how much water there is, I can't imagine most score well. My afternoon round was plagued by slow play as well and not much interest in letting us play through. Staff was nice and practice facility was good too. Condi…

Great golf course in that it is super well-maintained. There’s lots of water in play which makes it a little more challenging. Friendly staff too. Will be back!
