Travelers Rest RV Resort and Golf Course

Travelers Rest RV Resort was my parents winter go to for several years while they were still air streaming. They enjoyed the community setting and met many lifelong friends there. They loved to golf and participate in many of the activities. We stopped by on our way north to check it out and were amazed with all the amenities. The clubhouse with library, laundry and restrooms, showers, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf course.The facility and grounds are very well maintained. This is not a hotel But a wonderful RV Park. It has a golf course, pickleball courts, bocce courts, pool , hot tub & way to many activities to list. Friendly people , scenic & well-maintained property!

One of our favorite short trips frome home and stop over on our long trips. Very friendly people, great pickleball, golf, and pool.

A gorgeous and peaceful spot in the country. We're here in May and only 2 other campers on Golf View during the week. Amazing lakes surrounded by lush gardens that are maintained by resident volunteers. There are deer, birds and we met one of the resident gators, maybe her name is Fluffy ? Many of the (grass) sites aren't level and the Wi-Fi is sketchy at times, but the full hook-ups and concrete patio pads are perfect. We were guided to our site by a super nice staff guy in a golf cart and told we could move to a more level site, if we preferred.. We did, but still we hadn't brought enough le…

This is a great RV park. They are quite the diamond as if you didn't know where they were you couldn't find them. The park caters to permanent and seasonal guests, but they do have a grassy hill with sites to rent. The pool was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful right on a golf course. And the park is a Passport America. If you are anywhere near this area, try this park. We will definitely stay again when traveling down I75 in Florida.

Travelers Rest is our new favorite resort! It deserves more than five stars. Beautiful and peaceful boardwalk around gardens and pond. Delicious lunch at Snack Shack. Friendly employees and residents. Very nice, clean pool and bathrooms. Golf course and every other sport is offered here.

This is a gorgeous park. They have a nice 9 hole golf course that looks like fun. It was cold when we were there so I didn't play. Staff was very nice. Cable TV worked great. Lots of full timers in this park but nothing junkie. All the sites were well kept and the yards immaculate.

Can’t believe we discovered this gem. Wonderful place to stay. We have a 40 ft with tow, and we got a pull thru on the golf view sites. Plenty of room for slides. Site was level, WiFi good, satelite no issue. Clean laundry room, great pool, very clean sites, make sure you bring your golf clubs. Great for golfing. Otherwise you can rent some. Lots of activities to do. Live music on weekends. We had a blast. We definitely will return and stay longer. Not far from Tampa Bay, or Orlando. Little tricky to find on back roads.

We absolutely loved our 7years at TR, so much to see and do. The staff were so helpful in the office, the maintenance guys kept the indoor spaces spotless, and the grounds impeccable. Great idea to upgrade Ray to manager as the park has made great strides since he took over.

We stopped for a few days when going to a rally in Sarasota and found a wonderful group of people and a beautiful resort facility at a reasonable cost. It did not take us long to decide to make this our residence. We have a manufactured home in the village section of the resort. Wonderfully quite in the Summer months, and a flurry of activity during the November to May period. Being a 55+ community the activities for children are limited.

Great place to stay! We got a tip through a RVing Facebook group and were lucky to get a space on short notice for the past weekend. (3 nights). Check in was easy, the site beautiful, easy to access and very clean! We loved the quiet, relaxed environment - all the residents there seem to be very nice.

KIND, INCLUSIVE, ENERGIZING!!! I spent a whole week here and was an experience I won't forget. So many activities. EVERYONE I MEAN EVERYONE is friendly, kind, welcoming, and a spectacular place for retired people. It's like 1 huge family that all support each other and make TR a one of a kind experience. If I could give 10 stars plus I would. Check it out and you will not be disappointed. Thanks TR for a awesome experience.
