What People Say

In summary

The Club at Rebecca Creek is frequently praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, with particular commendations for the service provided by TJ and the beverage cart staff. The course is considered a good value, offering a family-friendly atmosphere and additional amenities like a pool and café. However, many reviewers express dissatisfaction with the course conditions, noting issues with dry, sandy fairways and tee boxes, and some greens requiring maintenance. Despite these challenges, some visitors appreciate the unique experience and find enjoyment in the course's relaxed setting.

Goat Track - and that does not stand for Greatest of All Time! Very disappointed the conditions! I should have known the conditions were going to be suspect based on the conditions at the driving range. The driving range should be closed because there is no grass to be found. Just sand therefore it is more like a good place for bunker practice or getting out of a fairway bunker. Hole 10 skirts the driving range without any protection to the sides or the ends. This is what I would think a west TX golf course would be like from the movie Tin Cup. This was not challenging at all. The only sav…

Absolutely horrible course conditions. No grass on the “fairways” every tee box should be considered a bunker. Greens seemed as if they were in the middle of re-sodding them. 10/10 would recommend skipping golf if you or a friend scheduled a tee time. The worst golf within 100 miles of new Braunfels.

Facilities are great. The greens need some TLC and the course isn't difficult at all. Not very challenging at all. Had a great time doing all 18 holes.

I was fully made aware of the dry conditions of this golf course. I was paired with 3 local players who were very friendly and helpful in playing this course. It was in much better condition than I expected. The greens were in pretty good shape considering the drought they are experiencing.

1-staff friendly 2-food very good 3-patio excellent 4- carts looked new 5- very poor fairways, lost 6 balls in middle of UNCUT fairways. 6- Greens in good shape 7- some tee boxes were sand boxes. 8- if fairways got some grass & trimed, this would be a 4 star. Sorry guys 😕

Goat track with rocks. Rented clubs. They gave me 10 old clubs, including 2 woman's clubs. Folks at the clubhouse were pleasant.

Everything in these reviews is true. This course is dusty, there are rocks everywhere and the greens are rough. When I played a round, someone’s powered push cart looked like a Mars Rover. However: when you give up the idea of a normal golf course and approach this with a sense of F-it . . . This course is so much fun. The balls rolled forever which means that we got an extra 100 to 150 yards on every shot. And it still counts in GHIN. Yes, the staff asks for your government name at multiple points and that’s weird. But the staff was friendly and helpful. Just bring a hammer to get your tee…
