Golf course is great. Facilities are under remodeling. Everything around the course is a bit dated and it shows, but just stay on the course and you won't notice.

We just wrapped up our massive girls softball fundraiser at Double J and I’m still buzzing from how incredible everything was! We brought 28 four-person teams (over 110 players plus family, friends, and supporters) for a full day of fun and competition, and this course went way above and beyond to make it unforgettable. Course was terrible, staff was worse. Kicked us off at 6pm with more then an hour left of sunlight and only 2 holes left when the sun was still in the sky could have easily finished but young workers just wanted to leave. Will never be returning. Course in itself was not worth the $70 greens fee anything more then 10 feet out of the fairway expect to be hitting from the dirt and rocks. The only positive thing to say about the course was there alcohol wasn’t ridiculously overpriced.

Great Hill Country golf course! We played on a Sunday morning and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Definitely a tight track, with lots of cool houses to drill with a good slice!! I like that they plant some Winter Grass down the middle of the fairways so even in Feb you had a nice lie when in the fairway. Pro Shop staff was friendly and gave great advice for how to attack this course. Thanks Holden. Looking forward to another round at this place….

We had a 9:00am tee time Friday. From the beginning it was slow and backed up. It wasn’t till later, a few holes down we observe a group of 7 men/women playing together. This was the cause of the slow play. There were no groups in from of the group of 7. In order for us to enjoy our round we skipped the two groups ahead of us to pass the group of 7. The rest of the round was a great pace. We confronted the Marshal about the group of 7 having an 8:30am tee time. We only got a blank stare in return. This poor service was not worth the $100 per person round. Double J please use common sense when…

Played Sunday 02/16/2025. it's been about 3 years since we played out there. Glad to see the course taking shape again. Fairways and greens were excellent. Tough conditions due to wind but what a great layout. Some holes test even the best ball strikers and some let you just go all out. Can't wait to go back out here again. Great staff also called to see how round went after can't think of any course that has ever done that before.

I have been golfing at woodcreek my entire life. Probably 25 years and me and my brother play very often and love it. After recently re opening they have raised their rate to 90$ on the weekend. I’m sorry but woodcreek will never be a 90$ round course. You can drive 30 min and play Vaaler or The Bandit for that money. It’s a shame because I was excited about them laying new sod on the greens and tee boxes but I don’t see how that makes it a 90$ course. I’m sure I can’t be the only one who feels this way. I've been coming to this course for around 3 years now, it was a nice option when I did not feel like spending money at Plum Creek/Grey Rock. The recent price hike to $90 a round is outrageous. This course was ~$70 a round less than two years ago. I understand you all are completing some renovations, but nothing is 100% complete, so what warrants the hike? You all are going to lose out on a lot of weekend golfers that played at your course because the fair price matched the quality of the course compared to others in the area. I already see other negative google reviews surrounding the price…

Nice country club. Greens were great. Pace of play was good, too. Decent golf course for the price. $40 for a Saturday morning. Glad we stopped in. I would recommend. Thanks!

Played this course for the first time on 5/26/24 and was a bit worried ahead of time about the recent reviews. After playing, I can’t wait to go back and texted my buddies about this hidden gem. There’s visible progress in the works and the recent rain has definitely greened up the course. The availability of tee times, the hospitality as soon as you drive on the lot, the prices for both golf and at the halfway house, and the difficult track provided an excellent weekend morning round!

Recently played a round here while staying nearby and thoroughly enjoyed it. Incredibly friendly staff, fun layout with lots of interesting challenge, and good conditions despite the time of year. Hope I make it back out sometime once they've finished their updates!

was one of my favorite courses id play weekly - but they continuously bump prices every few month & now it’s sitting at $90 bucks for a wknd round…. way too much for this course. probably wont be playing here anymore unfortunately
