I’ve been hearing about this course for five years and we finally got to play the other day. Angela, inside the pro shop could not have been nicer and more accommodating to our group. 😊 She even said we don’t have many on the course this morning so if there’s anything you guys need or want on the course, just call me and I’ll bring it out to you, we’ve had that kind of service at smaller courses, but it was quite amazing to have that offered to us there. Absolutely stunning views, perfectly maintained course, the fairways and greens were absolute perfection. The greens did not have one blemish…

Rainmakers is truly one of the crown jewels of the Ruidoso and Alto area. From the moment you arrive, the entire experience feels elevated — the beautifully designed golf course, the welcoming clubhouse, and the sense of community that makes everyone feel like they belong. The golf course itself is outstanding. It’s challenging without being punishing, immaculately maintained, and surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountain scenery you’ll find anywhere. Whether you’re playing a quick round or spending the whole day there, it’s the kind of course that keeps you coming back. The restaurant…

Likely one of the most difficult courses I have ever played. This course is every bit as beautiful as it is challenging. You really need to be on your best game here, a bad tee shot can ruin your hole. Each hole, is named, and has so much individual character. I lost a lot of balls out there. Many chances to enjoy the local wildlife and so many great mountain views. Pro shop is well stocked with everything you need and apparel. Staff is super! The clubhouse is beautiful and really embodies the atmosphere of this part of New Mexico. Chef curated menu offers so many great dishes. Many great meal…

Nicest course I’ve ever played. But also the toughest. Still an overall enjoyable round for someone from Texas. The pro shop attendant was one of the nicest people I’ve encountered on a golf course. She was very informative and friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

It's a super chic, luxury place. We were there for having a dinner for family reunion. The food was extremely good. It was the case when I have no idea how do they do it, so tender and balanced it was. The bar was surprisingly not expensive. Of course service is super good. The hallway has exhibitions worth museum. They represent the past of this land. And of course the stunning beauty of the outside can't bypass anyone.

Scenic without a doubt! Tees, fairways, greens, all in good condition. I don’t even care about the wildlife poop in the fairway, it added to the environment! Only bad was being charged $40 for my wife to ride and I was a single. Personally, unless it requires an additional cart outside a foursome, I don’t think it should be a charge.

Winter golf at its best. We had such a great time. Amazing views (pics don't do it justice), exciting golf layout that provided challenges and fun to our round. Angela in the pro shop was so friendly and accommodating as well. Thank you for a great day!

This is unbelievable course to play outside Ruidoso NM in Alto. First class carts, staff was very good, greens were good beside all the elk, and course has good cart path signs, marked well. Wander thru the mountains and you’ll see elk and mule deer. Definitely a must if your in that area.
