In summary

The Ridge Golf Course is widely praised for its beautiful layout, challenging design by Robert Trent Jones II, and well-maintained facilities, making it a popular choice for both golfing and events such as weddings and memorials. The staff receives high marks for their friendliness and professionalism, contributing to an overall positive experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional maintenance disruptions during dining, which can detract from the overall experience.

So lucky to live close by. Finally played 18 holes for the first time after many years of attending community events in their beautiful ballroom. It was sooo hard. Tons of bunkers. I am a rookie so not a lot to compare it too but I was so inspired, I signed up for lessons with Shawn. He is super easy going and keeps it simple. Can’t wait to learn more.

We had a memorial service. It was so much to think about; food, drinks, etc. The Banquet Captain, Katie, was the most excellent host. Everything was perfect with Katie's watchful eye on every situation. It's a tough room with crying relatives demanding different things. Katie handled this masterfully along with a great crew, McKeala (totally misspelled) especially. Highly recommend for any event 200 people or less.

Played here a week ago in a tournament. It's a great Robert Trent Jones II designed layout with narrow fairways and tiny undulating greens. The greens rolled good, the fairways were wet and had a lot of bare spots. Golf shop and grill staff was friendly and the grill room food was very good. It's a really good course. I hope when I return it is in better condition.

Beautiful wedding venue! The sun shines on this property in the most gorgeous way. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and there is so much space!! As a photographer, it was a dream venue. Bride and groom both had their own rooms to get ready in, and the brides room overlooked the ceremony site just enough to add so much excitement as the time neared closer to the big moment and she got to peak at guests arriving. The staff always made sure that both parties had everything they needed, checked in with me, and let us use a golf cart to make getting around the property easier for photo…

WOW. Me and my dad played here on a vacation road trip and it is BEAUTIFUL HERE!!! So well maintained and designed and the course is so hard but also fun! Fanciest course i have ever played. Forgot to mention that the carts are very comfortable and they have a touchscreen with a map and a digital scorecard

The ridge is a beautiful property with a great golf course and club house. The staff is fantastic and the food is great! They have many versatile and beautiful rooms for weddings and banquets. I really enjoy this place and definitely suggest it to friends, family and travelers.

Always a top notch facility! One of the best managed & maintained courses in Northern California. It's challenging for all aspects of your game. Long off the tee, hazards in play on every hole, and greens get your full attention. Def not a recommended "beginners" course. For those reasons above; pace of play can get pretty slow on weekends. Otherwise have fun! ✌️😛

Played here on Thursday 7/17 and the pace of play was absolutely abismal. There was not a single shot all day that we didn’t have to wait on. Spacing tee times 10 min apart but making hole 1 cart path only is such a poor decision. And the fact that there is not a single course martial out here is ridiculous. Beautiful layout but very clear they are just trying to make as much money as possible regardless of how players feel. I will not be returning as a result.

Worth the money, honestly one of the prettiest courses I have ever played on. Would not recommend for beginners with some really difficult holes and fast greens but overall would play again.

Amazing Wedding Venue! We had scheduled our wedding two years prior at a different venue and had to reschedule because of Covid in 2020. Fast forward to this year when our wedding date was 08/21/21, and had the Caldor fire heading right toward our fully outdoor garden wedding venue in Camino, Ca. We ended up not being able to get insurance per our contract at our old venue due to the fires. My friends, photographer, DJ, and coordinator started calling around when my maid of honor initially contacted The Ridge. They had a last minute cancellation due to a covid situation with the wedding that w…
