The best 9 hole course I've played. Couple of par 5 holes, greens and course keep in good condition. Surrounded by homes, but not so close that an errant shot would hit anyone's property. Scenic and challenging holes, with numerous water crossings.

Only reason not giving 5/5 is because they denied carts for us, which was a first when it comes to golf courses around here, but the price to play and the quality of the environment made up for that deficit, indeed a beauty of a course, holes that will make you scratch your head but also admire the beauty of. Will return for sure

This golf course is BEAUTIFUL. So peaceful, calm, quite, no outside noise, located in a quite peaceful place. Beautiful views and surrounding nature. Lots of geese and deers. Very enjoyable place to golf. 10/10 would reccomend. Also very affordable and not expensive.

Love this course. Low stress, friendly, nice wide fairways, not too much water or too many bunkers, but enough to keep you on your toes. I could play this course every day. The cool green shaded riparian environment is simply delightful. Greens are slow in the early morning and speed up and temps rise as you might expect. The course is well maintained and the players are respectful and friendly. And on top of all that, it’s a bargain! $19 if you walk it which is my preference?

Played golf on 10/13/2024 at 10:30. They had a group of 5 people in front of my group. Not one person could play golf. The Marshall and management didn’t care. It took me 4 1/2 hours to play 9 holes. If you want to go and enjoy a day of golf don’t go to Black Oak in Auburn!! Surprised they are still open.

The customer service was bad. They have golfers to stacked and not enough leeway time for inexperienced ones. They don't allow letting others to play through. The prices are reasonable. Got hounded by the Marshall a couple of times. The marshal said he would return our money if we would just leave and get out of his hair. I will not be going back to this 9 hole golf course. I walked off the course without getting my $26 dollars back. It wasn't about the money. Horrible experience wasn't pleasant at all. There are many other courses out there where customers are not bull dogged.

Course plays like an 18 hole. Lady at entrance doesn’t like you near her fence…

Slow pace of play. No Marshall speeding up the game. No water in the multiple water areas during summer. 2/5 amenities and 3/5 course conditions

Greens are in terrible condition. Yardage markers are incorrect and need to be updated. They allow random groups of non players to walk around the course making a lot of noise. Very poor experience.

This is a really enjoyable nine hole course. Its fairways and greens are in good shape and provide plenty of challenges for experienced golfers while being fun for beginners, too. There are electric and pull carts. The small clubhouse has tasty sandwiches and a variety of beers and other beverages. The staff is very friendly, and Carol French is a top notch teaching pro.

Great course in a gorgeous setting. Challenging and fun. Good length to get to use the whole bag, which is nice for a 9 hole course. Driving range could use renovation, but at least good to hit a few warm up balls. Would definitely recommend.
