Great event space! The pro shop was picked clean and did not have any balls for the tournament! They missed out on a ton of business. Great staff and beautiful course. Looking forward to next event there.

Great scenery and lay out!!! The fairways and greens do need a little attention though.

What a SHAME ! The new owner has taken what was once one of the most beautiful courses in the area and has totally ruined it. The course has deteriorated terribly in the last 12-18 months. My wife and I have played Auburn Valley for over 30 years and I really doubt that it can recover under the present ownership.

New owner is putting money back into this awesome course. If you want to play a beautiful foothills setting course this is the one. Greens are in excellent shape and brand new carts that are awesome. This is a very nice course that is friendly but still a challenge. Great staff and very fair pricing. It's been around a long time and glad to see it coming back and getting better every day. Give it a try. You will love it.

Really like this course! Was in a golf tournament here recently and it was very well done. The food was much much better than last year. Some of the ponds could use some work kind of slimy. The greens were okay Fairways were a little rough in spots but I really like the layout.

We played Auburn Hills on a beautiful fall day and were very disappointed with the overall condition of the course. Hard pan was the best way to describe it. The fairways were Completely browned out and hard as a rock. The greens were over watered and spongy. The course tees boxes and rough areas were neglected and poorly maintained. And to top it off they’re asking $69 to play on weekends. Overpriced at half that. If you don’t get a good deal on line I recommend you skip this one. There are many better maintained courses in the area for a more reasonable price. We won’t be back anytime soon!

For it being a membership golf course, it was very sad how bad the conditions were. The majority of the tee boxes were under repair, which is fine, but not when there is no place to tee off from on certain holes, plus having maintenance workers, being in your way, or making a ton of noise Everytime you're trying to hit or tee off. I understand work has to get done, but there was workers who seemed to follow us, and 15 out of 18 holes had people in the way causing us to have to wait or having to hit while they were doing work. Played on 1/14/2021. Beautiful day. Have played this course over last 8 years 5 or 6 times a year. I agree with all the one starr reviews. The course needs to have a complete overhaul from the practice area to the greens. I cannot think of any hole that didn't need work. The only course that I've played that was in worse condition was the Bass Lake course before it closed. Hope they get this course back in shape and worthy of the public green fees.

Open to the public, Thursday night dinner; The food itself was good. Entrees did not come with any side dishes offered which makes prices high for what you receive. Service was good, bathrooms were clean, nice atmosphere with gorgeous sunset views. Missing the old Burger Nights where prices were good, food was great and you could take your whole family without breaking the bank.

It can be hard to find the place! Trust your Google maps! I work here, but also play. From a member or player standpoint this is a challenging but casual course with water and sand hiding among wide fairways. Price, for an average golfer, is a good deal when compared to other courses of similar design and difficulty. Good food, great staff, plenty of parking.

This is one of the hidden gems of Auburn! Very nice club house with great parking. Fine dinning room. All the facility a golfer could want. Tucked away in a scenic area of the Gold Country. This place is not to be missed if you are a keen golfer.

I mean, the course is decent but not good enough for what they charge. I've also been out there half a dozen times and had to get the cart replaced on the back 9 twice because it wasn't adequately charged and one time it took them an hour and a half to get out to us. And every time I'm there the cart lady yells at you for bringing outside items in. I won't ever be back, not when there are at least 4 cheaper, better courses with kind people working at them throughout the area
