In summary

Tot Hill Farm Golf Club is widely praised for its stunning and unique layout, incorporating natural rock features and elevation changes, which many find to be a masterpiece of golf architecture. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and hospitality, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the high green fees, especially given the inconsistent condition of the greens and occasional slow pace of play.

Played at Tot's Farm 25OCT25 with 9 of my buddies. All of us were flabbergasted at how beautiful this course is. Three of us played Pebble and other courses in Monterey this past April. Two of us stated that Tot's was better (as well as Tobacco Road) than Pebble/Spyglass/Spanish Bay. The other one is just stubborn. I felt like this course was designed as an art gallery that had golf as a side attraction. I can't tell you how many times I looked at a tee shot and said, "What the hell am I going to do here?". I loved every second of it. Greens, fairways, waste areas, bunkers, and tee boxes were…

Absolute Gem. Have played nothing else like this on the east coast. - a guy on the putting green warming up when we arrived was griping about green speed - Who cares! This course is challenging enough and conditions were beyond acceptable for the sprawling terrain and layout! Believe the hype, this course is the tots!

Let this be known that I’m not a review type, nor have I ever posted a review. However, after playing Tot Hill 1 week ago, I was inclined to post my first review, ever. This was my 3rd time playing Tot Hill, and the first two were post renovation, if that’s what you want to call it. This course used to be a gem and for a decent price. I understand they “renovated” this course over the years, but this is 95% the same course I played years ago. At that time, this course was ~$80, today, $170. I don’t have an issue with the price, but at $170 I do have standards I would expect to be met. The co…

Played 2 weeks before Christmas. Some of the most memorable and interesting holes I have ever played. The use of rock and natural grasses is incredible. Lots of elevation changes and the green complexes are next level. If you truly appreciate great golf architecture this is a bucket list course. Played Pinehurst 2,4,8 and 10 last year I would play this in front of all except number 10 it is special as well. If you like adventure this is the place enjoy we did.

One of the nicest golf courses I’ve ever played. Soon as we pulled up the staff greeted us. First class experience! All the staff were very nice. The course was in excellent condition. John Burns in the clubhouse even gave me and my buddy BBQ sandwiches cause we are active duty military. We will be back! Highly recommended!

Played Tots Farm 4/12/26 and aside from the course being absolutely amazing, the staff was EXCELLENT! Everything about this course was awesome. Had the pleasure of chatting it up with some of the staff members and they really made you feel welcome. They made it feel like you're a member and you've known each other for years. The starters were great and helpful with course tips (didn't catch any of their names). The guys in the shop were friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going back. Shout out to John, Joshua, Brad and Dusty! Keep killing it!

My vote for top 25 courses that I can't play anymore. They have raised the price of play so high that 95% of the golfers I've spoken with will never set foot on this course ever again. Fun course, very challenging, beautiful views. Just sad they are catering to the wealthy now.

A fun, challenging, and scenic golf experience. I never played the course prior to the renovations when it was more affordable, but the price seemed fair given the extraordinary layout even if the conditions and upkeep weren’t on par with what I might expect if I paid the same to play a more “typical” course. Conditions were good, but certainly not pristine. I walked, which was a heck of schlep in the heat, but it is doable if that’s your thing. Staff were welcoming and friendly and thanked me for coming out. All in all an awesome day on the course!

Phenomenal course, the elevation change is very well incorporated into the course. Tons of different rock features, and it's almost as if they were able to place the water hazards after they built the course, even though we all know there's no way that happened. One of my favorite courses I've ever played, just a true raw beauty you have to experience for yourself!

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I've never seen greens this pure, easily the best I've ever seen. This has always been one of our favorite courses among the Stranz layouts, but under the previous ownership the conditions were bad and getting worse. After major tree removals and a complete renovation, this course has been brought back to it's original grandeur. And the new/renovated clubhouse is the finishing touch. The staff is very courteous and workers seem to be on every hole keeping up the course. This is truly a hidden gem and worth the drive if you're staying in Pinehurst.

Great course. Played a little longer due to cold and elevation so be ready for that. Pretty wide landing areas. Good sand in the bunkers. Greens a little slower then we were used to. But all in all, really good value for you golfing dollar.

Amazing layout and one of the more fun courses I’ve played in the state. However, half of the greens had dirt patches and were pretty beat up. Very ridiculous and not really close to being worth $180 at the moment. Most courses around for $70 have greens in much better shape right now. Very disappointed to see that when we have been waiting to play here for so long and finally made the trip over.
