We played three rounds at the Cattail creek course. Extremely good conditions. Tee boxes and fairways looked like artificial turf they were so nice. Pro shop was not much to speak of. Practice facility and restaurant as well as food truck were great

Both golf courses are great. True desert golf, not built through a housing development. Always impeccable conditions, and top notch service. This is a must play in the Phoenix, Scottsdale area.

Beautiful golf course. I enjoyed it. Staff was wonderful. Course is well maintained. Carts are in great shape. I played 18 holes in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Just as it should be.

Had an amazing day at Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass! Played the Cattail course, and it was a fantastic challenge—wide fairways but enough desert hazards to keep you honest. The views of the Sierra Estrella Mountains are stunning, and the course was in pristine shape, from the tee boxes to the fast, true greens. The staff were super friendly, and the practice facility is top-notch—huge range and two big putting greens to warm up. The Sivlik Grill was a great spot to unwind after the round; the food was solid, and the patio vibe was perfect for soaking in the scenery. Only minor downsi…

Pace of play was terrible. Took 2 1/2 hours to play 9 holes, no sign of a course ranger. We called the clubhouse but they didn’t send out anyone. Had to replay front 9 to get 18 in before dark. Not worth the $200 green fee.

I had a fantastic experience at Whirlwind Golf Club! From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome. It’s clear they take great pride in their service. As for the course, the greens were in excellent shape—true rolls and well-maintained fairways. It was a perfect day out on the links. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a top-tier golf experience in the area. I’ll definitely be back!

Our group visits the area every year for the Waste Management Golf Tournament, during our time there we make sure that we setup at least one round at Whirlwind Golf Club.

Amazing course! Played the Cattail Course with my wife. Course was beautiful, tee boxes were immaculate, greens so nice you could eat off of them. Saw the drink cart probably 5 times. Only down side, is that the course doesn't run by the club house at 9 for a bite to eat. Maybe that's what they are building out there is a turn clubhouse.

There are some solid options for golf in Chandler, AZ, especially in the mid-tier range. Lone Tree is not bad. Ocotillo is always good, if you can handle water on almost every hole. And, I’ll never shut up about Bear Creek being the best value in the east valley. The best Course, however, is Whirlwind. We played the Cattail and it was immaculate. We went off the silvers (just over 6100yds), so it can be very playable, or you can back it way up to over 7k, if you're a glutton for punishment. So many cool looking shots and fun risk-reward decisions to be made. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhe…

I've played a lot of golf in Arizona and as much as I wanna have the time and money to play all the Troon courses this one is near the top of the list above most all of them. Great practice facility, and great staff.

Course was in excellent condition. June 1st and the weather was great. Surprisingly the course was fairly open. But man, greens were superb, rest of eh course was great, even with all the rain the night before. Staff were very nice

Played Cattail for my son's birthday. The course was in good shape with a friendly staff. The greens putted true and were in excellent shape. Played during the weekday with around a 3.5 hour round. Need to go back and play the other 18 now. The carts were nicer than my truck.
