Club West Golf Course

Beer cart not as fast as I like, but great course and Biscuits restaurant is excellent

Had a tour of this beautiful course! Crews are working hard to restore Club West and I was very impressed!

Grew up playing this course and haven't played it in a couple years since moving to Denver. Since under new management this course is in the best condition I can remember, the course looked great. Everybody was friendly/helpful from checking in, cart woman, to the gentlemen cleaning our clubs at the end of the round. Would highly recommend playing this course to anybody.

Unfortunately played this course today when there are lots of good options out there and prices are slowly coming down. This time of year the courses are generally still in great shape and the weather is perfect and you can get some solid value. This course unfortunately decided to stop watering and the greens were horrific and the fairways were dirt. So bad that they actually spray-painted the course to make it look green. Never playing this again

Much progress was made since November but most of it is presently slipping away as is the credibility of the new ownership as the watering of the course has again stopped and the reversion back to just another dust bowl has taken place. It's really too bad as the new ownership started out so well. The number of persons traveling to the course has increased and the number of us residence are supporting the food concessions, however the change in behavior relative to persons renewing their association with the course and supposed amenities will erode with the lack of watering and finishing of pr…

The course is really looking great again these days, last time I went I was really glad to see it bustling again. They were remodeling the pro-shop/ clubhouse so I guess I'll have to wait and see how it turns out. They did have the Biscuits restaurant open and the food there was pretty good.

We purchased a house in the HOA associated with this course in June 2017 just when the old owner shut it down. The fate of the course was uncertain during the summer but a new owner purchsed it and reopened it. They took time to really reseed and clean up the course. I played it for the first time Dec 2 with two other players who had been playing it for over 10+ years. They said they hadn't seen it in such great shape in years. Actual course was in pretty good shape but the rest of the property has been let down. The water features were sad, the ball washers were empty, many signs at the holes were broken or destroyed. not a bad course just missing the refinement you expect from a course

One of my favorite courses in the area, the course layout & elevation changes (especially the back 9) make for a fair & balanced challenge. Great views of South Mountain and the restaurant is worth trying out after your round too.

Burned up. Found 1 patch of green grass on the whole course and it wasn't on the fairway. Greens rolled pretty pure would not hold long approach shots due to being rock hard. Sand was thin in spots. No food offerings when I was there.

I played Club West on January 14, 2018. The course was in pristine condition. Yesterday, I played it again. The difference was like night and day. The greens and tee boxes were burned out. The fairways were in terrible condition. The bunkers, which I found too often, were probably the best part of the course. Apparently, "someone forgot to pay the water bill." I feel bad for the starters and beverage cart people who have to explain the sudden change in conditions. I hope this isn't the last time I have played this course. The teal tees fit my game perfectly.

Went today with a large group. Food is great and service very good too. It is now our go to place in the Ahwatukee Foothills area. The views are lovely and ample parking of course. Thanks for the warm welcome Spencer and crew!
