In summary

Wild Dunes Resort Links Golf Course is highly praised for its exceptional condition, picturesque oceanfront setting, and challenging yet enjoyable layout. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience. While many appreciate the unique low country beach vibe and amenities, some visitors find the course to be on the pricier side, and there are occasional mentions of maintenance issues, such as closed facilities or greens under repair.

The Links is a tight, but scorable layout. We played in August and the course was in excellent shape, save the 16th green, which seemed to be under repair for some fungus (or something else). It was playable, though. I would have given it a 5 star, except the driving range was closed. Apparently they were "cutting it" or "picking it." Depends on who you spoke with. Enjoyed the experience.

This course is Charleston’s best kept secret on the literal OCEANFRONT (especially on the back 4 holes) in the most stunning, unique, FUN community you can find anywhere in the Charleston area. You can tell how the guys scored on the course who wrote bad reviews LOL I have to chuckle! If you want a DISCOUNT cheap place then go to patriots point and go whine to them and play your bad golf game there. The Links course is pristine, picturesque, with a classic low country beach vibe in every way including the staff who are super friendly but most importantly laid back & professional! On holes 1-14…

The Links course proves for a fun, but challenging round. Plays very tight off the tee and most greens are guarded well. The last few holes on the ocean are beautiful.

This course is immaculate. Kept looking for divots on the greens, but they are rolled tight and rolled true. The layout is unlike any course I've played. Scenery is spectacular. I would love to play this course again and again. Enjoy. IOP.

Such a beautiful links course! Signature holes scattered throughout the entire track with an extremely picturesque layout on the finishing holes accompanied by amazing ocean views. Easily the best golf experience I have ever had. From arrival in the clubhouse, to meeting Kevin the starter, and then making friends with Pam at the turn while grabbing some much needed fuel for the back 9. The entire course and overall experience couldn’t have been better. Look no further for golf in the Charleston, SC area if you want to have an absolute world class day on the links.

Absolutely incredible golf course. We played in mid March and the conditions were absolutely perfect. The greens roll beautifully excellent layout we played the white tees 129 slope ⛳️👏🏽🐺 Expensive golf course, but definitely worth the money if you want to see beautiful, scenic, overlook Marsh holes, ocean views and some. The golf course superintendent has paid close attention to the small details. There are several areas that are landscaped and beautified. Enhancing the courses experience overall. Nice starter and just good folk. Sullivans Island in this area people are way more chill and la…

Came here with my dad two years in a row to play the links course. We came back for a reason. This is the nicest golf course in the Charleston area. Absolutely superb condition (easily the purest greens in the area) and breathtaking ocean views. Jim is an excellent starter and such a nice man. Hope he stays around for a long time because he is an asset to this place. Never had a better experience starting a round of golf than I did having a conversation with Jim. Great job to the grounds crew and course management. We will definitely be back for a third time!

Due to the weather, we only played the front but what I saw of the course was nice. A little steep on the price for nine holes after 4:00 and as a resort guest but still a nice course. Greens rolled true but slower due to the rain. The fairways drained extremely well after a lot of rain. A few big gators to keep your eyes on for sure.

Terrific resort course around Charleston! definitely the signature course on the island and surprisingly the less challenging course, the harbor is definitely the more challenging of the two and the more reasonable. Both very enjoyable as well as the resort is. however, the links has some elevation and ocean views that are pretty unique. off season and Twilight fees are fair for this course. otherwise it's overpriced. still a wonderful track

One of my favorite courses! This is a well kept course that I play 4-5 times a year when in the area. Holes 17 and 18 are along the ocean and provide a great view. Whether you like walking or riding, this course is good for either.

I had the pleasure of playing this course on July 4th, 2022. We were a foursome consisting of a 5 handicap, two 12 handicaps, a 20 handicap and we completed our round in 4 hours. The course was in phenomenal shape and I had a blast playing links golf for the first time. I shot 86 from the whites and mid way through the round we got to see a military flyover! So cool! For me this round of golf was the highlight of my Charleston visit and hope to play the course again someday.

I joined my boyfriend for 18 holes at Wild Dunes Links Golf Course. I myself am not a golfer but it was so fun riding with him, taking in the beautiful views, and enjoying the amazing weather. The course wasn’t busy at all which allowed us to enjoy each moment and not feel rushed. My favorite part was the last 2 holes right on the ocean. The course was beautifully maintained. All the staff members were extremely kind and accommodating. When our Lyft driver brought us to the wrong course one of the employees called us a shuttle that arrived within 5 minutes. Incredible! Pamela (at the snack sha…
