In summary

Willow Springs Golf Course has received praise for its improved course conditions, particularly the greens and fairways, and is noted for being a good value for practicing short game. The staff is often described as friendly, and the course offers a scenic layout with a relaxed atmosphere. However, some visitors have raised concerns about inconsistent maintenance, including issues with the driving range and tee boxes, as well as occasional slow pace of play and increased pricing.

It has been two years since I last played here bc the course was in such horrible condition the last time I did. I decided to try it again and was very pleased with the improvements. All of the greens were in good to excellent condition. Most of the fairways played well but some needed mowing and one was patchy with dirt spots. All of the tee boxes needed work. Overall, it’s a good course to practice your short game and I’d recommend playing there.

This golf course has done a 360. Greens are tight and mowed six days per week. Fairways and rough are mowed five days per week. The bunkers have been cleaned up too. Definitely a value for either walkers or cart golfers.

This course is a lot fun. No Par 5's. Staff was really friendly. Good value for 18 holes. I play this when I am working on my short game. Greens need help. Will definitely go back.

I play here pretty frequently. I don't get all the negative reviews. It's fun, it's a quick round. I've definitely seen the course conditions improve. Staff is always cool. If you want a chill, quick round, no one bothering you, get some good practice in, this place is perfect. Ok, it's not Pine Valley, but I'm not exactly a scratch golfer either. Me and the boys never anything but a good time here.

Keep up the good work fellas. I visited 8/6/25 and my thoughts; This is a proper course. A little slice of paradise and heaven. The second I walked up to the first tee box was like a portal into serene relaxation. I was touched by my ancestral golfers before me. Given the strength and the courage of my bloodline I managed to shoot triple digits. At the time I didn’t realize the flaw’s in my game… I was overwhelmed with excitement. Curious as to what challenges awaited at the next hole. Admiring the creativity of this course so perfectly carved through the landscape.

Groundskeepers did a fantastic job. Used to play this course a lot. Then played it once two years ago and once last year. The greens were unputtable. Was sure I wasn't coming back. We took a chance today and I'm glad we did. The greens are in fantastic shape. They definitely worked hard. It's not perfect yet. The tee boxes could use some work and many of the bunkers had pebbles in them but they are definitely moving in the right direction. Will definitely return.

Probably the worst round I’ve had at this course. Been playing here for 7 years and the new management allows for the rangers to totally destroy pace of play. We played fast on the front nine which is fine so shifting to the back if we slowed down I realized that may happen. The ranger decided to changed the starting tee around the same time so we went from playing a solid pace to a halt. We sat at the 10th tee box for close to 20 minutes waiting to cycle through then proceeded to wait roughly 5 minutes every hole because of the significant back up. The traps and greens were in horrible shape…

Absolutely the worst shape ever. I’ve been coming here twenty years and have never seen the course this bad. Couldn’t putt on any of the greens. The staff also knows what shape the course is in but cannot understand how we paid $25 to walk. I simply cannot believe it. Please put some money on the course and get it back to respectable.

Course has significantly improved. All greens were thick and in decent shape. No bare areas! Overall 3.5. Once they cut those greens it’s gonna be nice!😊

I just started golfing last year and this course is one of the best values of the game i have found so far. Extremely friendly course for high handicaps with not a single par 5. Fairways are matured grass in good condition. There is some crab grass but for the value who cares! Greens are under renovation but as i continue to attend, this course continues to improve. The pro shop has a good selection of clubs and gear. The only thing i could recommend here would be some additional quick hot food items from the kitchen such as fries, chicken tenders/popcorn chicken, or maybe even drinkable soups…

TERRIBLE DRIVING RANGE Came here for practice - the driving range here is rough. The mats are in shambles, so worn you can see the fibers through most of the mats. The dividers between bays are falling apart and the metal ball trays are rusted/damaged or nonexistent. No rubber tee for my mat either. I looked at booking the indoor sim but it’s $40/hour! Drove to Columbia for an indoor sim range that’s $25/hour. Based off reviews I understand this place is making some changes but a decent driving range seems like such an easy fix?? Save your money and your joints, go practice somewhere with dec…

Absolutely terrible Greens right now. Apparently they don't want to pay for the water. On top of that, the new owners took away the discounts for military and seniors. If you don't support the military and seniors, you are not going to get business from me. I think a lot of people feel that way. I only took pictures of three of the greens (one was my tee shot for birdie 🙂). And, those were not the worst by far. Some of them were 90% brown. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
