Listen. I love Lawrence and the people that work the desk here. But this is by far the worst course I’ve ever been to. 30 dollars for 9 holes and a cart. The tee box, the fairway, the greens and the rough are all the same height. Half of the greens are pits with dead grass and a little bit of sand. You can go play in Baldwin for free on a better course, or go to Desoto and play 18 with a cart for 35. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Very unhappy an (Executive) course is being kept the way it is and the price is crazy high to play it. Save your money or spend the extra 5 and go elsew…

Came here a year ago and my buddies and I didn’t even want to finish because the course wasn’t playable and I just played this October and completely different vibe. New owners killed it and the greens r much better and it was a very enjoyable. And I will be back.

For what you pay this course is fine. The greens do need some work and hopefully with the new management they’ll get better. One suggestion I have is to make the third hole a par (3) three rather than four. I think that would speed up play and it would be less dangerous. It would also make it a par 30 rather than 31.

You should probably reel in your employee if they're going to make insensitive comments whilst representing your golf course.

We started playing this course this spring and love it. The greens get a little better each week. The new manager is dedicated to improving the course and it is starting to show. You can't beat the price and you can get around in under 2 hours.

Played in August 2023 and the course was in horrendous condition, it looked like a place that was in serious danger of going out of business. The Nick Jaimez review showing pics of the greens, that's also the condition they were in when I played. It did at one time look like a fun place to play. I do hope they're doing better.

Staff was out when we arrived, so we “played then paid”. Totally fine. Course is narrow, tree lined and a challenge! Forgot we were in the middle of town. The greens were immaculate, and the fairways looked good too. Spoke with the owner and he informed me that the tee boxes are preparing to be redone-they were the only poor aspect of the course. Owner is helpful, and friendly-he was mowing on our last hole, but drove in ahead of us to take payment. I thought that was a nice move. Overall, the experience and price speak for themselves. Cheaper than the other local course, while providing ju…

Very good challenging course, can tell they are working on the upkeep and cleaning up the course. The cart paths need a lot of work (which makes walking it better). The reason for 5 stars is customer service. I showed up to pay for our round and was greeted by my first name (never played here before) after booking tee time. After playing the attendant came out and remembered my name and asked how it was. I was really impressed and will play there again. Bravo.

This is a really cute course right in the center of Lawrence, albeit difficult. Kelly at the counter was one of the most lovely people I have encountered and made playing there a lot more enjoyable. Will be back.

Used to be a fun, quick round of golf. But greens need repair. Piles of cut timber need to be removed. The course is in pretty bad shape...but it's a short course with 5 par 3's and 4 par 4's. Can be challenging for players who are not accurate with their drives.

Price has gone up under new management but the quality of the course hasn't. Greens are spongy and patchy, and there's very little difference between fairway and rough. It's fine for a casual golfer or if you're looking for a quick round, other than that it's not great.
