Lawrence Country Club

I had a chance to play LCC as a guest. Chris the head pro was very helpful… he took the time to give me a quick tour of the facilities and the course. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The course was great! Not the longest course, but very fun and challenging! Overall the vibes were fantastic, I would definitely recommend.

Excellent private course. The course was in phenomenal shape and the greens were awesome.

Great first trip. Fried chicken dinner buffet. White meat and dark meat separate and labeled. Chicken tenders were real tenders but frozen. Good stuff all-round. Would love have to have had chicken brown gravy though. Like the stuff at KFC but better..... especially for the mash potatoes! Salad, green beans and bacon and biscuits all good too. Not a membe, was a guest. Just fyi

Golf course features a great layout with plenty of elevation changes and demanding shots. Greens were perfect - all rolled fast and true. Had a nice dinner with drinks after the round. Well done LCC!

Staff was excellent, patrons were classy, food was ok. Ordered the pork chop, it came over cooked, presentation was decent, sides were good. Service was superb, and diningnarae was well maintained. Good choice of wine made the experience decent. Would give five stars, but the chef needs to work the menu and prep a bit more for quality and consistency. Would still recommend giving it a go, as my companions were very happy with there meals and experience.

We had our wedding reception here and this a great "hidden gem" in Lawrence. We are not country club members but were treated like members. The price for the space was very reasonable and the cost for food and alcohol was reasonable also. They changed event managers a month before we got married but that did not cause us hardly any problems. There were no hidden fees or extras that you learn of after the fact. Love it here! We have belonged to LCC for several years and I’m thrilled to say this place just gets better and better. My husband loves the golf course. Easily the best golf course in Lawrence and one of the best in all of Kansas! The food, wine & overall dining experience is top notch and now rivals my former favorite pre-Covid Lawrence restaurant, On The Hill. Highly recommend.

My family held a large-sized major family-centric party event at LCC and all the staff worked wonderfully to help us turn our dreams into reality. Some of the family are long-time members, so we were lucky to already have great rapport with the staff. The planned menu cooked in-house was delicious, the drinks were great and everyone had an incredible time. We even hired the Diamond Empire band from KC and rented a dance floor from Sunflower rentals and the LCC staff really helped us plan and strategize the order of events, vendors and flow of people seamlessly. If I could give this golf course 10 stars. I would, it is the best golf course with the fastest greens for a competition golf tournament in the state of Kansas period Getting to play the seventh hole. Which in my opinion, is the toughest part 3 in the state of Kansas and the 16th hall is worth whenever they charge you.

We've met some great friends here and are excited for our kids to learn the game over the coming years and spend more time on the course ourselves. The staff does a great job and the facility is comfortable and polished.

Lawrence Country Club is one of the friendliest clubs in the area. The staff are incredibly helpful, and the golf course is beautiful. I love that they offer a weekly women's golf league. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to join a high end club.

Bella did a fantastic job being our server. Very attentive to the needs of the table. Thank You Bella!!! The food was delicious also.
