In summary

Cypress Cove Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, scenic rural setting, and accommodating staff, making it a favored destination for golfers in the Franklin, Virginia area. Visitors appreciate the course's forgiving layout and the quality of service provided by the staff, particularly under the management of Keith. However, some guests have noted areas for improvement, such as the condition of the sand traps, ball washers, and cart paths, as well as the limited dining options.

Cypress Cove is a laid back and relaxed private club located in a rural setting just outside of Franklin, Virginia. I really enjoyed my round and appreciate the way I was treated by the members and staff during my visit. The course was in really good shape and is among the better country courses I’ve played in Virginia and the layout was very forgiving from a playability standpoint. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is traveling through the area or who is looking for a new course to play as it is one of the few golf options in the area and is very scenic and the staff is extremely a…

The course is nice but needs a lot of work. The fairways have a lot of clumps of grass clippings, the bunkers are hard sand like concrete, not one hole has a working ball washer, the cart paths look like they have been bombed in many places and need repair. The greens on the other hand are beautiful but very fast. There is nowhere to eat like it says on their website, just chips and drinks. We were informed they are raising their rates April 1st. I sincerely hope they are using that increase to improve what I have mentioned, especially the ball washers. The staff on the other hand is extremely…

Great course in great shape. The greens were near perfect (lots of pine needles, leaves, etc., but what do you expect this time of year?) for putting. Most shots into the greens held very well. Some challenging holes with water coming into play. Appreciated the kindness of the staff and the overview of the course before we played. Would definitely play again.

Impeccable Service and Great Food! Special thank you to the manager Keith and his staff for making my parents wedding anniversary celebration memorable. Keith's attention to detail from the decorating to the serving of the cake were nothing but first rate. He even made a special request drink -Lemon Drop! I highly recommend, the atmosphere, service, and food make this a hidden gem in Franklin. Many thanks and prayers for a continued success.

Keith is doing a very good job with trying to revive the club. The shrimp were good quality and prepared perfectly. We have also tried Sunday brunch. That is very good as well. We are so glad that things are looking up for the club with Keith's help and we have a new place to eat. Keep up the good work Keith.

Rude customer service. It doesn’t matter when the sun goes down, you’re on their time. Mediocre course with lots of dirt, poorly kept sand traps and tee boxes, and the course is in no way challenging. Don’t waste your time or theirs for that matter.

Shorter OBX golf course in the upper outer banks. Very pleasant staff and several cute cart girls. An enjoyable afternoon playing golf and drinking beer.

Great group of fun people. Yet, clay tennis courts are in need of TLC. Tack lines down, leaning fence and debugged bathroom.
