What People Say

In summary

Hanover Country Club is praised for its scenic and challenging layout, featuring significant elevation changes and a mix of easy and narrow fairways that test golfers of all levels. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the clubhouse amenities, including food and beverage services, are well-regarded. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about course maintenance, particularly regarding drainage and the condition of tee boxes and greens, as well as issues with pace of play and the behavior of certain members.

Lovely course to play! Was here for a charity tournament and the course was in great shape and did not disappoint. Christine the cart girl was fabulous too always had a stocked cart and even brought us drinks we requested!!

This is a great course that used to be private but now is semiprivate. They have monthly dues that are very reasonable and give you access to 3 courses. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Front 9 has some great elevation changes and the back 9 is very challenging with some very narrow fairways. The greens and tee boxes are in good shape the fairways are a little bit firm so that may take some getting adjusted to. Quick note on the greens, they are soft and slow with very little break. You would think that putting would be easy right, not so fast. The judgment on how much speed to p…

First time playing here. Beautiful course. Nicely maintained practice green and chipping area with balls to chip with. Didn’t use the driving range, however noticed that it is a straight uphill shot when your using it. The course is very tight and holes tend to switch back on themselves so you run the risk of having an errant ball enter your fairway. There are some incredible tee boxes with tight landing zones which makes for an interesting round. Most of the major elevation changes are on the front nine and a few on the back. Gave it a four-star because of the layout and the carts. Would be n…

This course is a hidden gem with greens in consistent year-round good/great conditions. There are plenty of challenging, fun and scenic holes to play. The clubhouse has amazing food as well and is easy to access.

Good track, affordable price and simply a good test for all type of golfers. Enjoyed my round very much. Try this golf course if you’re in that area. Cheers!

Awesome property overall, nice work being done in upgrades, green complexes/surfaces are exquisite. Please keep up the great work. Kind, helpful staff as well. This may be my Tue go to course, love the monthly membership options!

Standing here at the moment with no one in the club house. The people who run the pro shop and this club house are consistently late. Have no remorse

Ok. Bear with me folks. There is nothing better than playing golf in the fall. The leaves, the changing of the colors and the sun shinning. Hanover GC is a great price for the quality of the course. Up, down, left and right. What a challenging course! No matter your choice of tees, you will be tested. They are a great staff, cart girl out on a Monday. Can't get no better than that. Please join or support Hanover GC. You will love it. Hat

In general, course is in bad shape. Tee boxes were mostly water logged, some fairways were great, others were dirt. Grass on the greens needs cutting and rolling. Easy to tell the new sod around some of the greens was not laid by a professional. Not worth the $75, especially with all the other courses in the area that are better as well as cheaper. Very disappointing day on the course today.

I don’t mind paying $75 to play 18 on a Saturday morning. However, the fairways were not in good shape, they did not have a Marshall on the course, keeping pace of play appropriate, and other players frequently slow down play due to hitting out of the fairway I was playing. The tee boxes were also in very bad shape. It is also important to note that they do have a surcharge for something?? This is the second time I’ve played there and the second bad experience. The hollows is in better shape and $15 less. The positive is the layout of the course. Good combination of easy pars and narrow fairw…

Saturated!!!!greens were horrible How they want to charge almost $80 a round to play this mess of a course Is beyond unbelievable. I like the huge elevation changes a fun challenge. But they need to put some upgrades on this course address the lack of drainage & employee a marshall. group behind me hit right into me while im waiting for the green to clear... unacceptable!

I played golf on Friday the 18th with a friend at Hanover. This has to be the worst course I have ever played. They have lost the whole course (no grass), nothing but mud. They never told us what kind of shape the course was in, wasted time and money, no going back this year...
