Legacy Golf Course

If you factor cost, this is my favorite course in the area. The regular rates are very fair, and you can usually find discounted tee times on golf now. While the course isn't particularly hazardous, I wouldn't say it plays easy by any means. Unless you're super long, tee to green can be a challenge. And putting isn't particularly easy either. Will need your full game to do any respectable scoring. Legacy is pretty much a home course for me and it still eats my lunch regularly. Hole 16 has ruined many a rounds for me. Water left and right, a nemesis of a hole for sure! But I like the challenge…

We booked a round here and parked our cart on a hillside just off of the cart path. The manager came out aggressive and began to ask us questions in a sarcastic manner such as “can you even read the sign thats posted in the cart” so we did not respond because we were not going to feed into his attitude. He finally asked us “can you keep the cart on the path yes or no” to which we replied “yes”, and then he proceeded to kick us off of the course mad stating that he was mad at the fact that we wouldn’t feed into his attitude at the start of the conversation. Their fairways are filled with clover and not mowed very short. It’s very easy to lose balls in the fairway. The greens are good. There are a few that they have spots in them. They charge above what they should. Some of the staff are very unfriendly and doesn’t make it easy to want to go there

First time playing here and had a great time. Course is in great shape considering we are in the bridal summer months. It's just under a 50 mile drive for me, but that will not deter my return. Bonus - Hale Erwin was the architect, and if I'm not mistaken, Hale won his third open right about the time the course was opened.

The course is in good shape and everyone working there was nice but it took over five hours to finish because they book groups so close together. I see that a lot of ppl have complained about this in the past so it looks like they haven’t changed anything. There were 4 groups on one tee box at one point.

My grandson participated in a golf tournament here. It does have bathroom facilities but not a restaurant. Plenty of golf carts.

We booked a Saturday tee time nearly a week out. Showed up to the course on Saturday and they apparently double booked our tee time. The employee who broke the news to us basically told us to kick rocks. This place is a complete clown show. Should be turned into farmland.

Booked a tee time Tuesday for a Saturday morning round at 10:25. Showed up before 10am and the clubhouse didn’t have our reservation after being explicitly told Saturday at 10:25am and the date of the reservation. The guy in the clubhouse was rude and unhelpful. I showed him the call and confirmed it was their number and course. The rude young man with long hair working in the clubhouse made it worse and left a sour taste of the situation. Told us basically to leave unapologeticly. Do not recommend playing here and won’t be back.

If you're a beginner then you probably won't hate this course but if you're not then I doubt you'll enjoy it. biggest issue is the layout is just pretty boring. nearly every hole feels dead straight and its fine to hit your driver literally anywhere, greens atleast feel decent i guess. Since its so cheap I cant give it one star but anything over 40 dollars and i'd recommend going to like arlington or florissant

Had to leave due to a family emergency and they refused to refund me for the back 9. Didn't offer a rain check or anything. Just straight up said nope. It's annoying because they could of easily refunded me with cash or card, but they'd rather be greedy for $20

Drove 30 minutes to find out they double booked our tee time and were unwilling to work us in. Not to mention a rude staff. Do not recommend.

If I could give zero I would. I have NEVER been spoken to at any establishment the way I was here. An older gentlemen on a power trip ruining the fun. I will NEVER be coming back and will 100% tell others not to. If this establishment wants to stay in business they need to let some of their employees go. Just watching money walk out the door. To specify, the main argument from this guy was that we were “golfing too slow”. The projected time to complete the course is 4 hours and 15 minutes (14.2 minutes a hole) We were told on hole 4 that we were too slow yet we had only been there 45 minutes…
