My daughter's wedding was held at Sunset Hills on April 10th. The food, wait staff, amazing caddy, and facilities were top notch. We received many compliments on the food, how attentive the wait staff were, and how spotlessly clean everything was. Mike, the GM, and Kelly, the event coordinator, were both on hand all day as well. Overall, a wonderful experience.

The golf course is well maintained. Some of the best greens you'll find in the area. They often have major projects/renovations happening. So sometimes that can be a slight inconvenience but from a long term perspective, that's a good thing. Jon Depriest deserves a ton of credit. He's super approachable and works as hard as anyone in the industry.

Funky but decent golf course that changes character quite substantially multiple times throughout the round. Weird routing due to limited space and less than ideal terrain for golf, excellent condition, good greens. Pro (?) was rather rude as I snapped a photo of the golf course upon completion of my round.

This was the most amazing place when searching for a reception venue. The décor was gorgeous, and the staff was so helpful, even though we arrived unannounced and they were setting up for another wedding. Great service and beautiful venue!

Helpful Pro-Shop were able to get me a set of left-handed clubs for my first time playing. Very nice looking course. Very challenging round of 18.

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at Sunset Hills Country Club and the whole experience was amazing! They filled every request my husband and I had and made my wedding amazing. The venue was beautiful and the food was amazing! We had so many people tell us how great it was! They helped coordinate absolutely everything and their staff was always right there if you needed anything. Chris, the clubhouse director, is phenomenal and knows what he's doing. He helped me more than I ever could have imagined. We even had to move the wedding inside at the very last minute and it still wen…

Spent $750 to support Edwardsville Cheer Team for a golf scramble to be rushed to finish due to weather and people “complaining” we were going to slow. Guy running the show at the golf course was really rude when notifying us that we were going to slow but yet we were waiting on people before us. We Will not be coming back. I spent $750 to support a good cause and have some fun for it to be ruined and told we are going to slow. I have nothing bad to say about the cheer team. Everyone with the cheer team was WONDERFUL. But the golf course should have planned better and not been so rude.

Had tickets that were won on a silent auction. We were stopped almost every 3 holes by the course manager telling us that we needed to keep up with the pace of play. We understood and were on pace to play 18 in 3.5 hours. I feel like we were singled out and harrased because we were not members. At the turn we stopped to grab a few drinks and low and behold who shows up? The course manager telling us we were in the wrong spot and needed to turn around . When we explained we fi ished 9 and were getting beverages he proceeded to tell us about the pace of play. I for one will never think about a m…

I will say this is a challenging course. Numerous water hazards, some rather tight fairways and lots of hills. The course is well kept, fairways in good conditions and the greens well maintained. My complaints would be there some holes are too far apart. Being built around a neighborhood you have to wind around to get to certain holes. The cart paths are not in the best shape either.

Stay as far away as you can. All they care about is their money. We had a tragic event in our family that forced us to request an end to our membership, instead we were charged fee upon fee and even threatened with collection and all at the most stressful moment in our lives. I was even asked to provide a credit card while at my brother's bedside while he remained on a ventilator. I can only pray that someone shows them more compassion should they have a loved one on their death bed.
