This course is by far the worst course in Kenosha. I golf in a league here and am very disappointed. Grass looks like the grass at my uncles house when he hasn't cut his lawn in 3 weeks. You CANNOT find you ball if you are anywhere off the fairway unless you are right on top of it. I've asked them why the grass is so long and they always have excuses yet all the other courses in town dealt with the same rain and look great. There are bunkers under massive construction, huge dried out spots in fairways. Me and 5 friends could take better care of the course. At the price of $36 for 18 w/ a cart,…

Great Staff. Course in early spring holds a lot of water but from June on through October it is kept in decent shape. Fairways always kept but only one cut of rough and it is deep kentucky blue grass. Greens medium fast and for mostvof the season kept well except in the real hot days of August. They water but they are still stupid fast. Carts included in green fees but you can walk the course for a discout. I usually try to go later in the day where the play is a bit more relaxed. I am a 20+ handicap so being that my play is a bit slow I like the afternoons better.

One of the best values in golf in the area. Some difficult holes (>600 yd par 5). Very good deals on golfnow.

If I could give the course 3.5 stars I would. This is an older low budget course that actually has pretty good greens and a fairly challenging layout. However, the fairways aren’t very good. When the course was originally constructed they planted the grass directly into the clay so it’s a bit thin. Also, the fairways are muddy early in the spring and when there’s lots of rain, but rock hard in dry times. $39 on the weekend with a cart, so overall a pretty good value.

Ok course and fair clubhouse. Not much for a pro shop. Awesome staff we interacted with. No logo ball for the course. Some greens and fairways on the front 9 were getting repaired. Greens overall were a touch spotty looking but rolled fast; accredit that to the recent droughts WI has been experiencing. Carts were ok. Rates were very decently priced. Overall a fun course. Would've rated higher if repairs were better. Looking forward to playing it again sometime.

Great open course. Perfect for those who can’t seem to drive the ball straight. Lost a few balls today, but found more than I lost. Friendly staff, however they did have a limited variety of beer/ craft beer. They were aerating the greens, which makes it very difficult to putt and because of that, they gave me the senior discount. All in all, would play again, would recommend.

Played for the first time today. Liked the layout and there's plenty of challenges. Greens were okay but the rough was pretty long in some areas. Decent value for $39 on a holiday.

Great value for the price. 10$ for 9 holes (walking) after 5:30. Staff is so friendly. Course can be impacted after heavy rains and buggy when winds settle..so bring some spray. Though amazing value. Great beer prices.

I will not stand for any Maplecrest slander! This course has hosted our family outing for 15 years. Are there better courses? Sure. But we keep coming back because this place takes care of us. They welcome us in, keep us hydrated and never fail to help us make the most of our annual visit. It’s too bad it’s closing because this year is probably the best the course has ever looked in that 15 year span and was in terrific condition. I will miss this place dearly. Anybody who disagrees is wrong!

This golf course was very nice. Courses were nice very well maintained despite the rainy weather. There was always a drink cart nearby roaming around the course whenever a drink was needed. Having a few more bathrooms nearby would be nice and maybe spraying for mosquitos would be a good idea but otherwise this course was a great course especial while we celebrated fathers day.

I had fun playing this course with some relatives and all the staff we encountered were friendly. We had a great deal of $25 with a cart. The drainage on this course is terrible and we had to drive our cart through running and standing water multiple times. Also, the pace of play was slow and they had no one on the course monitoring this.

Very disrespectful staff. The repair manager for the golf carts was playing behind us and saw my son slide the golf cart. Came up yelling at us and threatened to throw us off the course. Then next hole said we are playing to slow. Finally when we were leaving and while I was returning the cart, went up to my son and yelled at him and since he had Illinois plates on his truck, stated we should go back to f___ing Illinois where we belong. Funny thing is we live in Wisconsin. Would not recommend this course to anyone
