In summary

Myrtle Beach National Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained courses, friendly and helpful staff, and diverse layout across its three courses, offering a mix of challenges suitable for various skill levels. Many visitors appreciate the excellent condition of the greens and fairways, as well as the robust amenities, including a well-stocked pro shop and quality clubhouse dining. However, some guests have noted issues such as maintenance on certain courses, problematic cart paths, and occasional management of play during adverse weather conditions.

Me and my buddy's drove down to Myrtle from Toronto for a golf weekend. Expectations were high and this place exceeded them by a mile. Everybody on payroll was amazing from the starters being kind and welcoming (rarity nowadays) to the occasional ranger giving you course knowledge for the next hole. Conditions were great especially considering the timing and a fun course to play (south creek and kings north) variety in holes and difficulty. Pro shop selection is unreal, could spend a million dollars in there if I had it. From my limited knowledge of the area I couldn't suggest a better propert…

Myrtle Beach National Golf Course is a great place to play golf. The courses are well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and challenging round of golf. The courses are in great condition. The greens are smooth and fast, and the fairways are well-manicured. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are always willing to answer questions and give advice.

Played South Creek on 11/9/25, very beautiful layout of the course and not overly difficult. Tee boxes were not mowed during our early morning tee time, neither were the fairways, more similar to rough rather than a fairway. Greens were quick, challenging, and in good shape. Overall a nice course but could use a little more attention over West Course and Kings North.

Typically love playing at MBN. Unfortunately today they sent us out in the dense fog. Basically lost 2 sleeves and wasted money for first 7 holes after paying full price. On top of that through no fault of group behind us, we had multiple balls land very close to us as they could not see us it was that foggy. If someone got hit, it could have been real bad as these were full shots incoming.

Second time playing Kings North, it’s definitely a challenging course. The course is coming along nicely since the renovation, just be prepared for deep bunkers should your ball go off-line. Conditions were fairly good, just needs more time for some of the new sod to settle. Practice facility and clubhouse food was 10/10, definitely worth a stop for some food.

Played a morning 18 on the West course and then Kings North in the afternoon. All the staff I came across were very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was very good both rounds. Morning only took 2 1/2 hours for 3 of us. Had burger and fries from restaurant. Both were very good. West has some irrigation construction going on. Was some spots in fairways that might’ve been a little thin on grass but overall courses were in really good shape. First time I’ve played in area in February so I don’t know what typical is this time of year. Had a great time!

Course has the capacity to be a 4-5 star close. Layout is nice. Course does not seem to be maintained though. Fairways are not good at all. All the ponds on the front 9 have literally 6 inches of water in them. Bunkers were basically concrete. A lot of bare patches on the greens. Disappointing especially considering the green fee.

Played the west course which was in really nice shape. It was busy but not unmanageable. Fairways were in good shape, tee boxes were well cared for, and the greens were also well maintained. There weren't as many sand traps as I would have expected (not necessarily a bad thing) but I think those looking for more of a challenging course would find this an easy course (I was fine with it).

Played the North course..It's in really great shape. The greens are beautiful and lighting fast. Myrtle Beach National is great golfing on all three courses. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent course(s). Kings North is a fun challenge...West course gives you a great experience without as much opportunity to get into trouble.

Our favorite place to play in Myrtlr. They have three 18 hole courses all with different challenges with Arnold Palmers North being the more challenging of the three. Great friendly staff and a pretty nice clubhouse with a very nice restaurant.
