In summary

The Witch Golf Club is frequently praised for its scenic and challenging layout, particularly the front nine, which is set amidst marshes and abundant wildlife, including alligators. Many visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the course's overall condition, although some note that certain areas, like the tee boxes and clubhouse, could benefit from updates. While the course generally offers a rewarding experience, a few reviews mention issues such as inconsistent greens and occasional slow pace of play.

Fun course to play, as it was recommended to us to play it before it closed. Front nine is a fantastic layout with abundant wildlife surrounding you on every hole. Course was in OK condition but understandable given the circumstances. Very nice staff. Hopefully, the Mystical Golf group can use them at their other facilities. It would be a shame to lose the hospitality they displayed.

The layout is wonderful. The greens are not huge but full of undulations. You can be on the wrong side of a green easily. It's fair and it forces you to hit every club in your bag. Lots of wildlife. Very scenic. A great cart drive over thousand year old marshes. What a place to put a course. It's like they built it in the woods by cutting out trees and not harming the environment.

Course is in great condition in early April. Greens were fun, definitely makes you think more than most courses. Beautiful holes and lots of wildlife. Definitely a great course to play if you are in the area.

Nice Track played in about 3.75 hours and even though they are closing it was in good shape. Saw our first course gator swimming around too so that was cool. Lady in the clubhouse was bagging other courses in the area so would have been 5 stars if she wasn't rude.

Honestly upset when i got to 1st tee box and realized tee boxez were bare dirt and aerated. The fairways and bunkers were in really good condition but the greens were n bad shape and had been aerated but not sanded properly. I paid $38 and felt upset for the course not reporting aeration to Golfnow. They do have a decent snack bar and decent pro shop, were running beverage cart and they were giving out ice cold facial towels.

Pretty cool golf course. The front 9 is really cool with the marshes. It was fun looking for alligators. The back 9 is kind of boring. We came the dead of July so the course was in okay shape. They definitely need to do updates to the club house but it's a cool course

I love this place - great course - great shape - great layout - gators - all over the place (front nine)... and there are babies (apr 9+10 ) 8-9 baby gators with Mom and Pop on 6th hole. Great / Friendly staff. I play this place every year. Thanks for another great 54!!!

Loved this course. It was in great condition and the layout was a lot of fun. Accuracy is rewarded greatly on this course and wayward shots a punished heavily. I think this is a must play when in Myrtle Beach. I'll be playing this course again the next time I'm in town.

Played two times last week on an annual buddies trip. Course is fun with some challenging holes. Staff was very friendly and starter got us out ahead of schedule. I like that course doesn't have a bunch of homes surrounding it and the wildlife is pretty spectacular. Greens are in good shape, fairways are great, tee boxes need a little leveling in spots. Helps to get a yardage book at this course, there are some blind shots that unless you drive up to take a look you wouldn't know you would be hitting into trouble.

It's a cool idea but it's run down. Clubhouse needs renovations and tee boxes as well as greens need a lot of work.

Alligators were spectators to the performance of the golfers. We had fun.

First, the staff starting with Randy, Bob, and Susan was 5 star +++! Even the players were golf knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasurable!! Secondly, the course was in fabulous shape with the only exception was the back tees on #1 which was under revision and actually looked great! The greens were in great shape and receptive to various shots. The greens were true, consistent and rather quick, but what amazed me the most was the layout and the beautiful views! I beg of you, the owners, to NOT turn this absolute gem of a golf course into another hosing Develpment!!! Keep this venue open!!!
