Wild Wing Plantation

Nice course, great layout. Nice staff. Wall to wall overseed, so its all nice and green. Course dried quickly considering the rain. Greens were not great even for it being winter. Several bare spots that did effect play.

Today I made a core memory in my life at Wild Wing Plantation. I decided to brave the rain that has put a damper on my business/ golf trip and hit up wild wing. I had the course to myself; which wouldn’t have been normal, but the rain kept everyone away. The fairways were well mixed with doglegs, fairway bunkers, water features, and rolling hills that all attributed to a challenging, but fun tee shot on nearly every hole. Course was in excellent condition tee to green. Greens rolled very nice. A few had some spots the course had to fix due to flooding. But thats something you cannot avoid. Ive played a lot of the courses around the myrtle area. This is one of my new favorites for sure. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well! They also didnt charge me for a rider which was very nice of them.

We had a baby shower at Wild Wing and found the venue exceptional. From the pre-planning aspects to the execution of our desires the staff was thorough and professional. The menu was excellent and service immeasurable. The associated costs were reasonable. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Firstly, the staff is over whelming helpful and provides excellence throughout the facility. My husband and I arrived for a tee time to which he was playing but due to injury I was just riding. However, upon checking in the pro shop it was so magnificent and the biggest selection I have seen in all of South Carolina so far, I had to stay back and shop the wonderful discounts they had. They arranged their personal to escort me back to my husband on the fourth hole. Throughout the day I was so envious of not being able to play since the course was so well maintained in Nov. Love the natural beauty of this course. There are resident bald eagles, gators, herons, Hawks and more. Great place to play a round and escape regular life for a day.

Disclaimer - I played after a significant rainfall, with light rain during the round. Layout - I generally check layout beforehand on GPS apps to see the course condition, the layout was nice with not too many crazy turns and plenty of space to avoid trouble. Tee Boxes - In great shape, even on par 3s they weren't beat up like you may expect. Fairways - Also in great condition. My experience was only different since it was soft and wet so anything I hit stuck where it landed and forced clubbing up due to the softness. Greens - Could be better. 11/27/25, 2PM Seating: The Thanksgiving buffet was plentiful and DELICIOUS. Congratulations to Chef Kenny, Michael, and the others who contributed to this EXCEPTIONAL meal. The roast turkey was moist and tender, and the many side dishes were all TASTY. On the other hand, our table (#5) service was lacking. Once our server brought us our drinks, she didn’t return except to remove some plates and, after we got her attention, bring the bill. The food came out real fast because it was precooked. Meaning it was not hot. Very disappointing. Food should not sit there waiting for an order. Waitress was good and that's why your getting 2 stars and not one.

Second year in a row that our group played here. It's a fun course! A couple bunkers could use better sand and grooming, but the layout was interesting and staff was helpful and friendly.

8/2/2025 We had our 50th class reunion tonight at Wild Wing Plantation. We had a great turnout, saw lots of classmates that I haven't seen in years. The food was great. We had roast beef, salmon and chicken on the buffet along with mashed potatoes, vegetable Medley and rolls. Thank you Wild Wing!
