This past weekend Mystery Valley hosted a group of us for two rounds. They're so friendly in the clubhouse, the course and greens are in great shape, and lunch in the grill was delicious. They've done a great job improving the course. Now all golfers need to do is repair our ball marks and divots to keep this course looking great

Great Place to enjoy round of golf! Interesting and challenging Layout. Fairway are in great shape. Rough is a little high, and is difficult to see the Golfball. Greens need some maintenance. They are playable and tricky to read. Pace of play is good. We had never to wait. Enjoy to play this course.

Course was in great condition for mid March, particularly the greens & bunkers. Tee boxes and some parts of the fairways that have been in the shade need some work but I'm sure will recover as it warms up. Super cheap, excellent value for money. Played on a Tuesday morning and pace of play was excellent

Course is open with new greens and although it’s early on, they are good and will continue to get better! Ignore the other reviews, grew up playing this course and it’s still one of my favorites!

Mystery Valley never disappoints, and it looks like they may have done a few renovations, but I hope to see more in the coming months when the weather is far better. The greens are decent with some patchy areas. The course is very spread out with enough challenges to keep you coming back. The only con that frustrates me during this time of the year is you must have the golf carts back in by 5:00 pm, so if you tee off after 1:00 pm, chances are you may not finish, but the proximity of the course to our home tends to offset this con.

Solid county owned golf course. No frills. Good layout. Price is Right! Don't expect country club conditions. Greens were switched to Bermuda in 2023, really starting to round into condition.

There are thousands of nicer courses in Georgia for a better price. Guy behind the counter didn’t tell me it was temporary greens until after I paid. Course is in awful shape and terribly maintained. Save your time and money.

This course is such a great layout and such a good deal, but it stops there. After completely renovating their greens one year ago, as of today, they are unplayable and probably the worst greens in the greater Atlanta area. Even though I’ve played this course more than anything else in the area, I will not be returning. Furthermore, they completely mismanage their tee sheets on the weekend. They decided that Saturday is a good day for their men’s league to play. This leads to additional groups being added and players starting on the back nine, so they need to make the turn right at the busies…

Very unfortunate that google only showed me the good reviews from two years ago because this course is in terrible shape. Fairways full of dirt holes, greens just piles of mud, and the men’s league backing 18 holes up to 5 1/2 hour pace of play. And the layout was designed by someone who hates the existence of drivers and would prefer every par 4 be played with two 5 iron shots. 50 dollars as a hot deal?? Joke.

Pains me to do this because when in good shape this is one of the more enjoyable public courses and one of the best values around Atlanta. The greens are terrible right now. Many are completely dead and essentially putting on baked mud. We called auto two-putts in most cases because they were just unputtable in many spots. It's such a shame because they just resurfaced them a couple years ago and had them in good shape for a little while. Hopefully it bounces back this summer, and if they do I will gladly come back and update this, but they have a long way to go

The greens are in great shape for the summer time and considering how much rain we've been getting. I enjoy this course because it's a good mix of holes.

Congratulations Mystery Valley! You have risen to the top of the list for worst greens ever. I have putted on temporary greens that were better. These greens were composed of dirt, sand and the occasional patch of grass that was like putting through the rough. The fairways did have a lot of ground under repair so at least you could move your ball within the rules of golf if you landed in one of these areas. It's going to take years for these greens to recover assuming they hire a greens keeper that knows what he/she is doing. They need to fire Cornerstone Golf Partners if they are the ones mai…
