I recently moved to the area and investigated golf courses and memberships. I played most of the courses in the area in my price range. The Neuse is by far the best course and club. I’ve played the course many times now and it offers great challenges every time. The practice facilities are great. The course is expertly maintained and the pace has been well within accepted norms. I’ve met some great people on and off the course. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to many more rounds.

Great course and a fun layout. Played here 3 times with no problem. Then on back to back occasions was told to pick up the pace. First time was on a Sunday morning in a foursome with a few holes being cart path only. Finished the round in 4:15 minutes. Second time was the next day on a Monday morning in a threesome with one being a walker. Finished that round in 4 hrs flat. Both times the starter/ ranger came off rude and seemed like they were just saying something because the members behind us were playing from the front tees. Will give them another chance but they shouldn’t be rushing people…

This is a golf course I keep coming back to, thanks to the consistently courteous staff and beautifully maintained course. A special shoutout to the head golf pro, Joseph Priest, who went above and beyond to ensure my ladies’ social golf event on April 18th ran seamlessly for my out-of-town guests. Truly a five-star experience!

Pretty nice course. When we played, there was a lot of maintenance going on, but it didn't affect us. One of the first couple holes, there were a couple of loose dogs, they enjoyed a good Pat, On the head and tried to take a ride in the cart 😅🤣 the restaurant had good food options & drinks. We enjoyed ourselves.

I have played at the Neuse so many times and enjoy each and every time. Valerie Willis had a group of us on Saturday, April 18th. It was wonderful. Thanks again for having us.. Sincerely, Deb Sanders NC SWAGS

I had heard good things, and the reviews back it up. However I came away disappointed. Pace of play was awful, 2.5 hours for the front 9. Multiple greens were in bad shape. Layout is odd to me. Target golf with crowding from the houses. Not much unique playability. Not a course I’ll be revisiting.

It is a nice golf course with some great challenges. Course management is important. Pay attention to where your golf ball lands because if it lands in the rough, it may be hard to find. The greens had quite a bit of sand on it. I think it was just maintenance. The greens were fast.

Awesome course, challenging, greens always in good condition. The Range is a bit small though. Overall a great place to play a round and enjoy a drink after.

Fantastic course and well maintained. Greens were very quick (I’m not very good at putting so I didn’t like it) but overall a very nice course to play at. It has lots of hills which makes it challenging. Will be playing there again. Carts also have the GPS which tells how far the flag is (very cool)

Played last Saturday 5/3/25. Really enjoyed the layout of this course. It is also in great shape. The greens were true, but super fast. They will challenge anyone with a putter for sure. Only small issue we had was the pace of play was pretty slow. Had to just slow down and enjoy the beautiful day. I will definitely play there again though.

Course was very nice with some tight fairways with blind shots and rolling hills. Some layups required off the tee. Rough was not a recommended place to be as it was thick. Greens were quite fast, but fair.
