The club offers excellent amenities, including GPS-equipped carts and a lively clubhouse atmosphere. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the greens and occasional slow pace of play, suggesting these areas could benefit from improvement.

Carolina National Golf Club is an absolute gem. The layout is a ton of fun to play. Every hole feels different and the courses flow beautifully. It’s challenging without being frustrating, which makes it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Course conditions were excellent. The greens rolled true, fairways were in great shape, and the overall attention to detail really stood out. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the course. The staff were just as impressive as the course itself - friendly, welcoming, and clearly proud of the property. From the moment I arrived, everyone…

Played on 5/22. The staff was nice. Tee to green was in good shape. However, the greens were in horrible condition. I would suggest a discounted rate or go play somewhere else. At the very least, be honest about the greens when someone calls to book to play there. 2 stars because of the greens.

Staff was friendly with a nice lay out. Course was highly recommended from a buddy who played it last year. Would have been good customer service to inform us that the greens on the Heron 9 were heavily top dressed due to there deteriorating condition, and/or discounted the round due to their current state. Imagine a golf course that would tell you when you book that they are struggling Paid top dollar for very poor conditions, very disappointed. No not someone who just had a bad round, actually scored well. Would not recommend playing for a month +

Great Life has and continues to make major improvements in all three nines. Bunker renovation and new greens have and will provide in the next two years an even better golfing experience. The small but intimate club house continues to innovate dining and social experiences. Well worth the money!!!

Just finished the Heron 9. Very scenic, fun 9 holes to play. Not too difficult but not too easy with plenty of tees to choose from. Friendly staff. Some parts of course are painted green because of dormant Bermuda but doesn't effect play. Greens are in good shape and extremely puttable. Playing Ibis 9 next and will follow up with review. Great value for the money. Only $46 for 18 holes.

My experience with Carolina National has been great. Three years ago, I started a Tuesday Golf 9 hole ladies group. The staff has been great in providing tee times; the bag handlers are always friendly and helpful. The three nine hole courses are kept in great shape.

Played here on Nov 1 and the course was in great shape. We had beautiful weather and had a great time. Played Egret and Heron. I've played here many times over the years and this is one of my favorite Brunswick County courses.

Great layout, really expected the greens to be healed alot more than they were. All employees were very friendly. Heron 9 greens still very sandy.Cart paths the absolute roughest i ever experienced in over 100 courses. Its about 64 miles from garden city so i was expecting a great course.

Sept 2025. We were on vacation in the area. We played the course twice. Course is upscale and in great shape! Challenging but not overly difficult. Carts were very nice and equipped with GPS. Staff were excellent and very welcoming and friendly. Can't beat it for the price range! Highly recommend!!

I've played here a ton pre covid and it was always really nice. I've seen recent reviews stating that the conditions are subpar. I went today (24 September 2024) and the conditions are great. Glad to be back.
