Mission Del Lago Municipal Golf Club

I only gave it 4 stars because of all the work being done on the course. Did not in any way affect our game. Its nice to see a place putting so much work into the course. The greens were fast and true. The fairways considering it is winter, you always had a nice lie. overall, very happy with it and we will be back soon. We are only here for two months and this is by far is the best military course we've played and we've played them all. See ya soon. Emory Haynes USN Retired Chief.

Always great and helpful staff here. Course is under construction in some parts so a bit messy in areas. Unfortunately they were out of golf carts, had to wait till past our tee time for one. Minor inconvenience but still enjoyable course.

Always a great experience here. The course is in solid shape, especially for the price, which is very reasonable. What really stood out was the staff. Alex and Don are amazing, super friendly, welcoming, and always checking in to make sure we were good and enjoying ourselves. They really make the course feel inviting and well taken care of. Overall, a good course, good vibes. Definitely coming back

The lady's working at the cash registers at mission del Lago today were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable & kind. I believe they're an asset to your company... also, course is in very good shape. Just wish they could control the mosquitoes better!

Great layout. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. They are finishing cart paths on the back nine. Very scenic landscaping

I liked the course but right now it is under construction improvements. Once done it should be nice. You need to be aware that the grill closes early. We were very disappointed to come in a little after 3pm and couldn’t get anything to eat before our 2hr drive home. No clear sign that noted when it closed. Finally the water out on course tasted terrible. Not sure why but I would make sure to bring your own water. There is no real shade so hot days one will really need to hydrate

We were a little disappointed in the Marshall yesterday. He asked us to speed up on hole #9, but didn't address the group in front of us who was slowing up the groups. More importantly, the same Marshall drove by twice while we were addressing the ball on the tee box. On 16, he actually stopped and started a conversation with the twosome while I was addressing my ball. What happened to golf etiquette, especially by the Alamo golf employees?

Tee boxes need attention: some are as hard as Blake’s clay. The course is in great shape. The snack bar is top flight for food and beverages. The staff is friendly and provides great service.

This was the first time I have played this course and I was satisfied with the conditions of the course. I have played all the other city courses and Mission is in the middle as far as course difficulty and amenities available. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. I did find the pace of play a little slow but that was due to the foursome ahead of us.

We played Mission Del Lago Golf Course this afternoon (4/14/26) - warm & windy! We found the course in pretty good condition for early spring and even though just sanded, the greens still rolled well. Thank you to the front staff for accommodating us and being so kind.

Course has major improvements since we last play it over a year ago. New cart paths are complete. Still muddy on either side of the path on front nine. Staff anticipates sod placement soon. Back nine already sodded. Pro Shop and on-course staff are very friendly and customer-centric. Only complaint, like other ACGT courses, cart fee is $38 and none of the carts have powered USB ports.
