What a neat golf course! It was so scenic and mature. I didn’t want to give it a 4 but 5 might be a bit high (why doesn’t google let us do 1/2 stars?) lol Some great 4 & 5 par long range holes to challenge your drives. Carts are all in great shape too. Will definitely be going back!

Reason for the 4 star rating is because of the course. Old 9 is the now the back 9. Was sand traps and now there is none. A lot has changed from when I was younger and before the holes changed to what they are now. Sometimes change is good. Yet for the course. It should have stayed how it was. 11th hole was either the 4th or 5th hole

First time golfing at Shady Oaks and it did not disappoint! Lots of rolling hill areas and little by way of sand traps, which worked great for me! ;) The staff at the pro shop were super nice and gave as tips on navigating the course, which is VERY well marked. And, the maintenance crew was very nice and accommodating as we golfed; always stopping and/or shutting off their equipment. Very cushy seats on the golf cart as well. We had a great time and we will be back SOON!

Fun course. First time doing 18 holes. Course was a little rough in spots but was enjoyable. Even had some baby deer watching us.

Very nice staff, excellent course. It was a beautiful Fall day to be golfing! We also saw a deer on hole 14. When it seen us, it ran off across the green into the foliage. It left hoof prints on the green that I had to fix before I putted. I was the funniest thing finding those prints on the green. I did make the putt for a bridie.

I just played this course on 9/15/24. Tee boxes are horrible no grass and not flat. The fairways are in rough condition and not tightly cut. I will give it one thing, the greens are in great shape. Just a little on the slow side. Layout is hard and challenging just get those tee boxes and fairways up to par and the stars go up.

Awesome experience! A family member who owns a home in Woodhaven Lakes invited me out and was pleasantly surprised. Beautifully manicured greens, great price and peaceful experience with very few other golfers out on the course. The course is very challenging due to the narrow fairways, small greens and large mature trees guarding dog leg lefts and rights. What a fun and challenging course!! Well kept, very reasonably priced and friendly staff! Can’t wait to golf there again soon!

For what it is it's the best value around. It's a tight course with narrow fairways so bring your A-Game. The greens were moderately fast and in good shape. The fairways looked good too. All the rain has helped this usually dry course. Not long but a lot of interesting, well layed out holes. Not much sand so don't worry about that. Friendly staff and reasonable prices for sure. A great place to play.

Wonderful layout as no two holes are the same. Fast greens add to the challenge. Hole #14 might be one of the most difficult holes I have played ever. This course came recommended and it did not disappoint. Will be back.
